WEATHERFORD, Okla. (AP) A 20-year-old Weatherford man was killed Sunday when he was struck by a tractor-trailer truck along Interstate 40. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says James Ray Hensley suffered massive injuries and was pronounced dead at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Weatherford following the accident. Troopers say the mishap occurred about 2 p.m. in Custer County. The tractor-trailer was eastbound on I-40 and Hensley was walking westbound on the eastbound shoulder. The patrol says the pedestrian ran in front of the tractor-trailer and was struck by the left front of the vehicle. The pedestrian came to rest in the center median. Troopers say no one in the vehicle was hurt.
