  • so hello there xanga. my dear friend who has always helped with procrastination. i should really be working on finishing my paper that is due in 12 hours... but alas, we meet again.
life is nice here in stillwater. i'm getting used to it... finally! i'm actually becoming quite attached in more ways than one.
i'm going to be an aunt on monday, officially. i'm pretty excited, because i'm pretty sure that it will change my life significantly FOREVER.... ok soooo, probably not. but you never know. everything and everyone around me, i might add,  is changing so much. i guess it's just that time in my life. friends are getting married and friends are having babies... A LOT of babies. it's ridiculous. i feel like i'm just staying still. but that's so not true. i'm moving and changing  - just not in those kind of ways.
Jesus is so sweet to me. more by the day. it's great.
so. i'm really buckling down and getting my paper done now.
    peace.

  • i've never had a friend die before.

WEATHERFORD, Okla. (AP) A 20-year-old Weatherford man was killed Sunday when he was struck by a tractor-trailer truck along Interstate 40. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says James Ray Hensley suffered massive injuries and was pronounced dead at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Weatherford following the accident. Troopers say the mishap occurred about 2 p.m. in Custer County. The tractor-trailer was eastbound on I-40 and Hensley was walking westbound on the eastbound shoulder. The patrol says the pedestrian ran in front of the tractor-trailer and was struck by the left front of the vehicle. The pedestrian came to rest in the center median. Troopers say no one in the vehicle was hurt.

    life is pretty hard sometimes.
i worked with james last summer at camp hudgens. he was my buddy. i don't understand. my heart hurts.
please keep his family in your prayers (they are a very lost family).
james touched many lives - his death has taken a toll on many.
some of the hudgens team members met up at my house and left a little while ago... thanks for praying.
